I'm human. As I human, I sometimes get pissed. As a human who sometimes gets pissed, I occasionally say things I don't mean.
Things like "Pick any one of your friends. If she told you it was either them or her you'd choose her."
And even though we had the conversation about "When I get really, really mad, I will say anything I can to hurt you as badly as I possibly can," you're upset because you think I never knew you at all.
If anything, I should be upset because YOU don't know ME well enough to know that I am not just some ethereal being who says exactly what he means every time he opens his goddamned mouth, who never does anything just to be vindictive, even if he regrets it later, even if he knows he knows he shouldn't have.
Because I have a temper, and if you don't know ANYTHING else about me, you should know that. -M
